Prompt Censor is a browser extension that detects potentially sensitive information (for example API keys, tokens, credentials, email addresses, private URLs) in user input before submission to third-party websites, including AI platforms. Detection is performed locally within your browser.

The extension is provided for informational and productivity purposes only and does not constitute legal, security, compliance, or professional advice. You should implement appropriate security controls and policies independently.

4. User Responsibilities

You are solely responsible for the content you submit to third-party services. The extension may warn or help reduce risk, but it cannot guarantee prevention of all disclosures. You agree to use the extension in compliance with applicable laws and the terms of any third-party services you use.

If Prompt Censor is distributed under an open-source license, your rights to use, modify, and distribute the source code are governed by the applicable license included with the project repository or distribution. In the event of a conflict between these Terms and the open-source license, the open-source license controls with respect to the source code.
